Savoir-Flair is the ultimate styling guide for any gal looking to put a spin on her everyday ho-hum wardrobe options. The Rogue Vintage duo has much in common with our fellow blogger and friend. Not only is Lindsey obsessed with vintage anything, she often finds inspiration for her wardrobe between the pages of an Elle Decor. One of our favorite posts she did was based on the Beverly Hills Hotel's Martinique wallpaper!! Who doesn't dream of having a shred of a corner of that paper in their house? But leave it to Lindsey, she took it to the next level. If you can't slap it on your walls, you sure can make a fabulous outfit from it!

Road Trippin' It

Who doesn't love a road trip? Tricia and I recently decided to take matters into our own hands, which we normally do, and take RV on the road! Our first stop....Raleigh, NC! When we arrived to my friend Emlyn's house we couldn't believe how beautiful everything looked. She was such a gracious hostess and thought of every little detail (she knows me well)!

After the champs was served the shopping began. We always get so caught up in the moment and we both forget to take pics. Luckily, Emlyn was on it and snapped a few with her phone.

Tricia and I were ecstatic to hear everyones reaction to our collection and knew we made the right decision about our road trip! Thank you to everyone who came out on Thursday and for those who couldn't make it, stay tuned for Fall party details! That's right. It may be 80 degrees outside and you may be lounging by a pool at this very moment but TRUST....nothin is warmer than the furs, capes and lady like cropped jackets that we have coming your way!

We have a few more stops up our sleeve so if you would like us to add your city to our list let us know! Who doesn't enjoy a girl's night out with the added bonus of shopping??

Last Chance Mad Men Giveaway

So it is 7:30 PM on Thursday the 14th and you only have a few hours left to enter our fabulous Mad Men inspired giveaway! We had a little fun this morning and took some final pics of our Mad Men dress before we must bid adieu and send it off to its new home.

One of the hardest things for people to do with vintage clothing is wear a modern interpretation. We took our carnation print dress and put a few different spins on it. We can't wait to see how its new owner decides to wear it but for now here are a few suggestions.

For the first few shots we raised the hem by temporarily taping it. We will leave the final length to the new owner. Often times all it takes to make a dress work is a quick alteration and wearing the correct length for your body is KEY. The last photo we left the original length and used this as our "luncheon" look.

No one embodies the spirit of Gemini more literally than Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The girls have sure come a long way since their days on Full House. For years they have been red carpet chameleons inspiring many a young lady with their eclectic mix of high and low end pieces. Last night they were given the ultimate fashion honor by receiving the CFDA Award for Womenswear Designers of the Year for their line the Row.

Lately the twins have been sporting the clean lines and solid colors reflected in the design aesthetics of the Row and Elizabeth &James. They still retain their boho edge and always mix their basics with something edgy. Maxi Skirt Mayhem

If you know me at all, you know that I LOVE a maxi skirt! Anything that covers my legs and keeps me cool is OK in my book. Pair them with a simple tank and a fabulously over sized vintage necklace and you've got yourself the perfect ensemble. So, whatever your weekend plans- an outdoor concert, a stroll through a flea market, a cookout at home, I feel certain you can find the perfect maxi to go with you.
