Vintage Rules the Red Carpet
Who saw the Emmy's Sunday night? What did you think? I have to say that I was not overly impressed with many of the get-ups that were on display. Actually, there were a few of my usual faves that I was quite diappointed in. I won't mention any names...Heidi Klum. One thing is for sure, Boardwalk Empire star Gretchen Mol certainly made up for the fashion don'ts. Gretchen took the red carpet by storm in her 1970's Valentino Haute Couture gown.
I love that she stepped out of the box and did something a little different. You know we are big fans of that at Rogue Vintage. Not only was she gorgeous, but she also made it onto the best dressed list! We all need to take a note from her.
But, if you don't go vintage, we love the look of vintage inspired.

Rogue Vintage Mad Men Giveaway
As everyone who reads our blog or visits our Facebook page knows, we are just a teensy-weensy bit obsessed with Mad Men. Although this season has been a little dark we are heartbroken that the season finale is this Sunday, June 10th. We are not quite sure how we will get our fashion fix this summer but we will continue to sip our Negroni's in full 60s reverie!
We thought that the best way to end the season with a bang is to have a fantastic giveaway so that someone can keep Mad Men extra close to their hearts while we anxiously await Season 6. We will be giving away a package valued at over $150 to some lucky lady! The package will include a vintage 60s Mad Men style red carnation print dress and vintage 60s bead and rhinestone earring from the Rogue Vintage collection. Additionally the package will include a limited edition cream satin Cherry red lipstick and creme rouge in Evening Rose from Estee Lauder. Both the compact and lipstick cases and packaging are inspired by the vintage designs of the 60s Estee Lauder collections. Are you absolutely DYING?! We are so excited that we can hardly stand it!

Last night they were given the ultimate fashion honor by receiving the CFDA Award for Womenswear Designers of the Year for their line the Row.

Lately the twins have been sporting the clean lines and solid colors reflected in the design aesthetics of the Row and Elizabeth &James. They still retain their boho edge and always mix their basics with something edgy. Their current collection of jewelry has a feather motif and we so see them rocking some of our ethnic inspired jewelry pieces.
Even our black beaded maxi dress on the red carpet!
Congrats to Mary-Kate and Ashley! We can't wait to see what they have in store for us next with their ever evolving Gemini style.
