Tricia and I are not your typical girly girls. Don't get me wrong. We love all of the things most girls do- shoes, jewelry, bags. But we do not love pink. We both swore our daughters would NEVER wear pink (you should see my daughter's closet now). We gag at the sight of overused Lilly when most girls go nuts.We just don't have a special place in our hearts for the rosey hue. It is unnatural, I know, and we are both aware. However, there is a time when we gladly show off our pink. The pink ribbon was adopted as the official symbol of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in 1992. Every October, men and women show their support by wearing pink- Yes, even us at Rogue Vintage.
